Two days ago, in an address to the Nation regarding the killing of al Quaeda founder and leader, Osama bin Laden, Predident Barack Obama stated "our war [was] not against Islam, and that "Osama bin Laden [was] not a Muslim leader." I can only assume that he believes us to be complete idiots.
Here are a few quotes directly from Osama bin Laden. Perhaps it might clear a few things up:
"We declared jihad against the US government, because the US government is unjust, criminal and tyrannical. It has committed acts that are extremely unjust, hideous and criminal whether directly or through its support of the Israeli occupation." - Osama bin Laden - to CNN in March 1997In Feb 1998, bin Laden declared, "We--with God's help--call on every Muslim who believes in God and wishes to be rewarded to comply with God's order to kill the Americans and plunder their money wherever and whenever they find it. We also call on Muslim ulema, leaders, youths, and soldiers to launch the raid on Satan's U.S. troops and the devil's supporters allying with them, and to displace those who are behind them so that they may learn a lesson."" . . . For the American forces to expect anything from me personally reflects a very narrow perception. Thousands of millions of Muslims are angry. The Americans should expect reactions from the Muslim world that are proportionate to the injustice they inflict." to Time Magazine Dec 1998Responding to the question "are you trying to acquire chemical and nuclear weapons?":"Acquiring weapons for the defense of Muslims is a religious duty. It doesn't matter what we SAY this war is about, Jihad has been declared against our nation. This is no time to play dumb, just for the sake of political correctness.
Yes, bin Laden was a mass murderer, and yes, he did kill other muslims as well as americans and others - regardless of their nationality.... however, his motivation was incredibly clear. According to his own words, edicts and declarations, it was his duty as a devout muslim to wage jihad (holy war) against all infidels (non-muslims). This was his call to action, and it will remain the call to action for his followers.
So yes, we are in fact at war with Radical Islam... yes, bin Laden was a Muslim leader... and no, Mr. President, we are not stupid. It is aggrevating that our own government (and the main stream media) makes anyone who is logical and observant about Islam out to be some kind of close-minded, phobia-driven conspiracy theorist.
Be aware and don't be misled! The current muslim population is around 5,220,000 and is expected to double in the next 20 years. Are they all radical? No, of course not. Just as there are some "Christians" who claim the name, but live a Godless life, there are "Muslims" who do the same. They are not all harmful, but neither are they all harmless. The truth of the matter is that (a) Radical Islam IS in fact a religion, and it is notlimited to just a handful of people; and (b) at the current rate of growth, the muslims will eventually outnumber us. This means the majority of the voting population will be muslim, and then will become of our free and democratic society? There are 21 countires under strict Sharia law; 14 more under some lesser form of it. Also, Sharia law is already being observed in many European countries; and in some districts of France, the Muslim population is so dense that neither police - nor christians - dare enter.
There is but ONE solution. Do not be afraid of offending. These people are created by God and He is not willing that any should perish, but that all would come to repentance. They are blinded by the god of this world and we must lead them to the truth! So tell them about the ONE TRUE GOD - Jehovah GOD - and about His Son, our Savior, Jesus Christ. That's how you love your neighbor.
